I *think* in the US such a display would only be found in a furtive corner at Victoria Secret or Frederick of Hollywood (if we consider Las Vegas and Los Angeles as aberational exceptions), whereas in Leipzig, they seemed to be in every third window. Red & Black, again.

Marilyn Monroe's Toes

Well, First of All. I don't know why the blogger software is loading my picture sideways . . . it's true it was taken sideways by my cel phone in the restaurant Ambiente Living in PRG, but I have rotated it before loading it .

But never mind that . Look at her pre-hensile toes. I wisht I was back in PHX where a fellow could ogle a few toes all year round, unlike in PRG where half the year one is reduced to ogling snow boots.

I mean, just to dig a little deeper hole for myself, what is the meaning for such toes? I immediately extrapolate conclusions about the population at large from such an egregious example, but I recognize it is not a scientific approach.

Waiting For Santa

so, yeah, the first one is just funny - there was another with this same mannequin, in the same staging, in the same block of stores -- at least I think it was the same mannequin . . . I don't want to offend any mannequins or mannequin-ites, but I think it was the same model . . . unwrapping a cylindrical package, oh, say 10 inches long and 2 inches wide . . . I didn't get that picture cuz it didn't register on us till later . . . if you know how I mean . . .

but I just like the wrap-around skirt. Very Chic.

Red & Black

it seems odd to me that this is the only picture I have of all the Red & Black figures I saw in Leipzig store fronts . . . most of them (and I am thinking of the Leipzig HBF Mall (150 shops, very modern, very nice)) had lingerie, mix & matching red & black . . .it looked wrong at first -- funny, I mean -- but it kinda grows on me till I don't want to see all Red or all Black . . .

Limonde Promotion

the Flora Mall had these girls, in addition to the normal swarms of Sephoras (in Pink Wigs and danskins), and a half dozen other pairs doing different things . . . I wish I was quicker on the draw . . . having these lovely-but-hilarious girls shove trays full of Limonde Becherovka at you (you can't turn it down, can you?). just makes the holiday season that much more special for me, anyway...
