Narodni Gallerie - Bath in a Bucket

Narodni Gallerie - Ombre de Derriere

The name of this second picture was something like "The Power of Gold" . . .

Narodni Gallerie - Lenin on Parade

my funky little camera phone turned these turquoise . . . but do you think the material is linen?

Letnany Mall Store Mannequins

We don't remember the name of the store . . . it's not a place we shop, but these are the drollest mannequins I've ever seet . . . I just thought they were funny . . .

but oh, despite the tutti-fruiti hair, this one is giving me a semi- . . .
and this one seems like a sit-com character . . .
I mean, would you buy clothes from this Daisy Mae?

Narodni Gallerie - This Usta Be My Spot

of all the heart-breaking things that make me laugh in self-defense, this has the most arch-typical appeal to me. . .

Georgia O'Keefe Bridge

I've tried to photo this bridge a couple of times now, once from a moving car and this time from the train to Dresden . . .I think the town is Lovosice . . . I acknowledge that my attempts fail to capture what an awesome, beautiful bridge it is, sensuous in all its structural integrity, as I have implied, in a Georgia O'Keefe way. . . I'm amazed at the engineer's thinking out of the box to make only support on one end, not two, nor in the middle, and to have such lovely, graceful curves.

The Flying Dutchman

Just walking around the bohemian section of Dresden, the Neu Stadt, we happened on this advert . . . boy for more time, I'll bet the Opera in Dresden is go-o-o-o-o-o-o-d . . . 8^). . . but look at this cherub swilling wine from the bottle. . . I guess if I was with a half-nude babe 3 times my size I'd want a fortifier, too . . .

1st Beer of the Day...

at Raderberger overlooking the Elbe. . . I know you won't believe me, I mean, I know it doesn't look like it, but Really, this was our first beer of the day . . .

One Eyed Slaughter House

Ok. We were in Dresden. These are the old Slaughter Houses -- or at least where they used to be . . . this is all some sort of concert Halle now . . . But we had to take at least one picture to make the trip out to Messe-Dresden worth it . . . we don't care if the bus driver that dropped us off there at the end of the line when everything was closed thinks we were nuts when we got back on 10 minutes later when he resumed his route . . . as long as we don't think so.

Bridal Revenge

so we were just thinking it was funny to see a bridal gown in a used clothing store called Revenge . . .
